About the Journal

Ulak Journal of Social Sciences (UJSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal that began its publication life in 2023. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, book reviews, and short communications in all fields of social sciences, including sociology, psychology, political science, public administration, international relations, communication, anthropology, history, and cultural studies.

The journal was initially published on a semi-annual basis in 2023 and 2024. As of September 2025, UJSS has transitioned to a monthly publication schedule.

The aim of the journal is to encourage scientific production in the field of social sciences, to support interdisciplinary studies, and to contribute to international academic interaction. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, and articles are accepted in both Turkish and English.

UJSS adopts an open-access policy. All published content is freely available to readers and researchers, thus supporting the dissemination and sharing of scientific knowledge.
