Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Ulak Journal of Social Sciences (UJSS) are screened for similarity/plagiarism before peer review, using tools such as Turnitin and/or iThenticate.

  • Submissions with a similarity index exceeding 20% are not processed for review.
  • Direct quotations must be properly quoted and cited.
  • Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are treated as ethical violations.
  • In suspicious cases, editors may request clarifications/documents and may suspend the process if necessary.
